Kapa Haka secondary schools regionals. "We're in the FINALS! Nationals here we come!"

Week 10: months and months of practice is put on the stage as our Raukura group takes out 3rd place in the recent Secondary schools kapa haka regional championships.  In addition, our junior team "Nga Kohine" group did us proud making their first debut on stage, and making a cameo appearance on Te Karere news.  Mana wahine in ACTION!! Months of hard work, endless time and effort given by all involved, resulting in a flawless performance everyone loved to watch.


Prime Minister's Excellence Awards invite to perform in Auckland.


In the midst of school production, a few members of our Hair & Make-up team Anahera Curtis and others still managed to take a night off and drive to Auckland to perform at this prestigious event.  An amazing performance, every time they step on that stage - perfection and beauty is what you are guaranteed to get.  And their coach / tutor Laurell Tamati expects nothing less.  It is this kind of attitude and high standard that drives our kapa haka team at the top of the leader board!
